Pick your door, pick your colors - we handle the finish. Every painted door is finished in-house by our professional paint team at Mox Painting LLC, right here at Builder Supply Outlet in Broadview. Add the painting option to any exterior door (Modera and factory pre-finished doors excluded) and take home a door that is ready to install, in exactly the color you want - inside and out can even be two different colors.

How Your Door Is Finished

Step 1 - Prep & Inspection. Thorough surface preparation, cleaning, and light sanding before any paint touches the door.

Step 2 - High-Bond Primer. Primed with Sherwin-Williams X-Treme Bond for maximum adhesion.

Step 3 - HVLP Spray Finish. Applied with professional HVLP spray equipment for a smooth, even finish - no brush marks.

Step 4 - Two Coats + Sanding. Benjamin Moore Command Series paint, a minimum of two coats with sanding between coats.

Your Color, Matched

Choose any Benjamin Moore color, or bring us a color from another brand or a custom swatch and we will color match it. Because texture, lighting, and the door material itself affect how a color reads, an exact 100% match cannot be guaranteed - but we get it as close as the paint allows, and you approve the colors on a sign-off sheet before we spray.

6-Month Workmanship Warranty

Our workmanship is guaranteed to be free from bubbling, peeling, or flaking for six (6) months from the date of completion. The warranty does not cover color fading from direct sunlight or harsh weather exposure, physical damage or impact, or normal wear and tear.

A Hand-Crafted Finish

These doors are custom finished by a professional paint team, not factory stamped. Minor character variations are normal and part of a hand-crafted spray finish.

How It Works

Choose the painting option on the door's product page, or ask any member of our team in store. You will review and approve your door, colors, and the finishing terms on our Paint Sign-Off & Disclaimer before work begins - then we paint, and you pick up a finished door.
